PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY OF OKLAHOMA Pediatric Cardiology of Oklahoma is a group of dedicated medical professionals ready to serve you and your primary care physician. When you need pediatric cardiac specialists, we're the team you want. Congenital heart defects are the most common type of birth defects, affecting nearly 15-20 out of every 1000 newborns. We are four cardiologists and two nurse practitioners who specialize in caring for children born with congenital heart defects, and for those who develop heart problems later in their childhood or teenage years (acquired heart disease). In addition, we offer prenatal consultation for evaluation of cardiac defects prior to birth. We work closely with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, cardiothoracic surgeons, as well as your primary care physician to provide the highest level of care. Our goal is the early detection and treatment of all heart defects. | ||||
